YVES SAINT LAURENT 1970s Vintage Lace Up Peasant Blouse
YVES SAINT LAURENT 1970s Vintage Lace Up Peasant Blouse
An iconic Yves Saint Laurent peasant blouse with front lacing. Yves Saint Laurent created these blouses for the Fall 1976 Russian Collection and then released further designs in various colours as important key pieces for his Spanish inspired Spring 1977 collection. These blouses are one of the designer's most sought after designs and instantly recognizable. They were heavily featured in ads and editorials and are thus very well documented. This blouse is made of crisp black cotton and features a six hole lacing with a long braided cord with tassels. The edges are beautifully trimmed with braided cording. 3/4-length balloon sleeves with elasticated cuffs. 100% cotton, unlined. Made in France.
