YVES SAINT LAURENT 1970s Vintage Lace Up Peasant Blouse Size XS
Regular price €0,00
An iconic Yves Saint Laurent peasant blouse with front lacing. Yves Saint Laurent created these blouses for the F/W 1976/77 Russian Collection and then released further designs in various colours as important key pieces for his Spanish inspired S/S 1977 collection. These blouses are one of the designer's most sought after designs and instantly recognizable. They were heavily featured in ads and editorials and are thus very well documented (see pictures). This blouse is made from crisp cotton in a rich dark brown and features a six hole lacing with a long braided cord with tassels. The edges are beautifully trimmed with braided cording. 100% cotton, unlined. Made in France. Reference pic (no. 2) by Helmut Newton, "Tomb of Talma", Père Lachaise, Paris, 1977.
