This instantly recognizable and very well documented vintage Yves Saint Laurent set from his iconic Fall 1976 "Russian Collection" comprises three pieces - a red wool jacket and skirt and a black velvet vest. The jacket features a stand-up collar, YSL's signature braided edges in black as well as black buttons, the fitted cropped vest features metallic gold trimmings and the most beautiful cone-shaped buttons with metallic gold cording. The flared midi skirt has hidden side pockets and closes with a side zipper and a metal hook and eye. Jacket & Skirt: 100% Wool, substantial weight. The jacket is fully lined, the skirt is unlined.
