Vintage Yves Saint Laurent "Mohawk" heels from the Fall 2010 collection, designed by Stefano Pilati. Crafted in black suede, these sculptural high heels feature a distinctive strip of black goat hair running from the top to the base of the heel and continuing along the back - an iconic detail that gave the design its name.
The "Mohawk" heels played a notable role in the Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2010 runway show and appeared on the runway in multiple variations.
The heels measure 13,5 cm/5.31", including a 3,0 cm/1.18" platform. Inner and outer soles as well as the lining are crafted from genuine leather. Made in Italy.
CONDITION Excellent condition. Apparently worn only once or twice. Minimal signs of wear to the suede throughout, as visible in the photos, and light wear to the outer soles.
