YVES SAINT LAURENT Vintage Silk Taffeta Ruffle Evening Set

An amazing Yves Saint Laurent vintage evening set consisting of a ruffled top and long skirt with matching sash belt, probably from the early 1980s, all pieces made of a turquoise blue silk taffeta with black edges. The top has a ruffled collar with two long bands of fabric that tie into a bow and short ruffled sleeves. The full-length skirt is wonderfully flared and rich in structure and form. It has a ruffled hemline and closes with a hidden side zipper and a metal hook & eye. The long sash belt accentuates the waist and can be worn in a variety of ways. 100% silk, unlined. Made in France.
