Empreinte by Courrèges, created by Robert Gonnon and released in 1971, is a chypre fragrance with woody, aromatic, earthy, herbal, mossy, leathery, floral, and animalic accords. Production has apparently been discontinued.
Originally released as a women’s fragrance, Empreinte feels remarkably modern, niche, and decidedly unisex. A unique composition, it is exceptionally rare, especially in this size and with its original packaging.
Equally a bold visual statement and a tactile pleasure, the architectural flacon is a striking addition to any vanity.
